Get to Know Grace

Hi, I’m Grace! I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work at Flinders University and have also studied Aged Care and Disability. I’ve always loved helping people and getting to know their stories. I grew up with three younger siblings, and my family has been fostering short-term for over nine years. We’ve had so many children come through our home, and it’s taught me compassion, patience, and how important it is to really listen and understand others. I’ve worked in schools and early learning centres, including Goodstart Early Learning Centre, Pilgrim Primary School, and Ernabella School in Pukatja, supporting children one-on-one and in groups. I love seeing people grow, achieve their goals, and feel proud of themselves. When I’m not studying or working, you’ll find me outdoors, surfing, running, hiking, or watching the sunset. I’m also a big sports fan and love staying active, which I enjoy sharing with the people I support. I’m excited to get to know you and work alongside you to reach your goals!
